God grants us Forgiveness as we forgive others
Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven
God commands us to forgive others otherwise we miss forgiveness
Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. Luke 17:3-4 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Jesus has the power to forgive our sins.He is the one that grants us forgiveness
Mark 2:10-11 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. 1 John 1:8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
