A Month to Forgive

Forgiveness is not an option because you have been forgiven

Friend, grace and peace be multiplied unto you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I believe that all is well with you and your family and that God has continued to show Himself faithful and true to you. My wife and I are well and we bless the LORD for His mercies that are new every morning, great is Our Faithful God.

God has placed in my spirit that this be a Month to Forgive.

Many of us are at different stages in our forgiving walk. It is my prayer that this month you will renew this walk in your life. The Bible is very clear - In Ephesians, you and I are forgiven in Christ Jesus. Our sins are all washed away never to be remembered again.

God says “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32. Again in Luke 17:3-4, we read “Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.”Friend, my prayer is that God will endow you with the grace, the patience and the ability to forgive whatever the circumstance in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Sometimes, the pain or hurt caused is too much. Still we are commanded to forgive. Matthew 5:44 says “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefuly use you, and persecute you” . In the Bible, we see Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Ghost. He preached wonderfully till he was stoned to death. Friend, these men were throwing stones to kill him. It was painful, it hurt and Stephen lost his life. Yet, while they were stoning him, praise God, he cried out to God..the Bible says “And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.” Acts 7:60 Friend, yes, what may have been done to you is unbearable but we have to forgive. I pray that a forgiving heart will be formed in us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. One of those that he forgave was a man called Saul, later became known as Paul who wrote almost three quarters of the new testament. You never know what God can do with that one that you forgive. May God help us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Jesus Christ on the cross prayed to God and said “Father forgive them”, May this be our lifestyle in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Poison

Unforgivenness can also be compared to a silent poison. The person that does not forgive does not know that he or she is taking poison but this makes you not able to love your brother or sister who Christ died for. I pray to God that you will be delivered from in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Remember, we are admonished to love and not live in hatred. 1 John 2:9 “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” David, cried that a new heart be formed in him; you and I have a new hear that is after God and Christ lives in us hence we have a heart that forgives.

Peace

Friend, my prayer is that you and I will “Follow peace with all men, and holiness” . Friend,  my other prayer is that we may “Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, long suffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye.” Collossians 3:12-13. This I pray in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

“Don't ever say, "I'll get you for that!" Wait for God; He'll settle the score.” Proverbs 20:22 (Message) God bless you and enable you by His Spirit to walk in by the Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
